The GBC Golf Academy has it all. We combine a world-class practice facilities with beautiful surroundings and expert instruction to offer an unparalleled learning experience. Our Academies at the participating GolfBC courses in British Columbia offer a variety of lesson programs designed to help golfers of all ages and skill levels. From private programs to golf schools, our experienced teaching staff is on hand to ensure your time with us is both rewarding and fun. This spring, we are pleased to officially launch the GBC Golf Academy at The Okanagan Golf Club!

Just starting out? The Okanagan Golf Club offers Beginners Lessons focusing on the Basic Fundamentals in a fun and relaxed environment. 60 minutes of Instruction with people of similar skill levels using a 6 to 1 Student to Instructor Ratio. The areas of study will include Full Swing Basics to Short Game to Golf Course Management.

Perfect for small Corporate Groups. A CPGA golf professional offers instruction by walking up and down the Practice Facility visiting with each member of the group. This instruction will hopefully provide more enjoyment to the guests.

Great for larger groups. A CPGA opens up a Question and Answer forum at the Practice Facility discussing a wide variety of golf related topics as well as offering up some demonstration.

For large shotgun tournaments this a great fun activity. The tournament players challenge the CPGA professional to closest to the hole contest on one of our Par 3's. With a prize to the players who beat the professional.

You have a Charity Event? Well lets generate some more money for the Charity. One of our CPGA professions is placed on a Par 5 or a long Par 4 where he will hit tee shots for the members of the group. These drives can be purchased with a portion of the purchase going to the Charity.

This program is an intro program designed to promote a fun and safe atmosphere for children to learn the basics of the game of golf. Students will learn the basics of the Full Swing, Putting, Chipping, and Golf Course Etiquette as well as having lots of fun. The ideal students for this program are children ages 5 to 9 that would like to try something different and fun. At Golf BC we maintain a student-instructor ratio of 8 to 1 for Juniors, so there is always a sufficient amount of supervision.

We are offering weekly clinics designed strictly for women. The focus is self improvement and camaraderie with your fellow ladies. 60 minutes of Instruction to work on a specific area of the game. The areas of study vary from the Full Swing to the Short Game to Golf Course Management. To provide a better learning environment the student-instructor ratio will be 6 to 1.
