If you had the wind at your back on #1, then you'll be hitting
into it on this demanding par 4. With water guarding the entire
left-hand fairway, the smart play is to aim just left of the
fairway bunker on the right. A tee shot hit to the right centre of
the fairway leaves a mid to long iron second shot which will not
have to carry any water. As the front of this green is usually
firm, balls landing short will often bounce onto the putting
surface. This green is almost 40 yards deep, so pay close attention
to the pin position as it can greatly affect your club
selection.
