Blair Wilkie, CPGA
Blair Wilkie, originally from Edmonton, Alberta, has been a part
of the team at Mayfair Lakes since the summer of 2006. Blair is
relatively new to the golfing world having become a CPGA Apprentice
in 2007, but not new to teaching. He has taught high school music
in California as well as being a snowboard instructor in
Edmonton.
Blair has a thirst for progressing in the game of golf as well
as helping people along that same path. What makes him a great
teacher is his ability to explain a thought or theory in more than
one way. He believes that it is a teachers’ job to
mould a teaching style to each student. This allows a student to
learn the most in a short period of time. He has a great
understanding of course management having caddied on the Canadian
Tour and his strength on the golf course shows itself on the
putting green.
