Location & Travel
The city of Kelowna, located in British Columbia's southern
interior, is home to the Okanagan Golf Club and its two 18-hole
championship courses - the Bear and the Quail. A temperate climate
and loads of sunshine keep visitors coming back to Kelowna. With
ski resorts and lakeside beaches all just minutes away, you'll
never run of things to do. After a day on the links, consider a
tour of some of the many world class local wineries that have
become a major attraction in the Okanagan Valley.
In Kelowna
Follow Highway 97 through the city north to Quail Ridge Blvd.
Turn west and you're there. To help guide the way, the club is
right across from the Kelowna Airport, so the airport signs will
lead you to your destination.
Driving from Vancouver
The 471 km. journey starts along the Trans Canada Highway, east
to Hope. At Hope, take the Coquihalla Highway (Highway 5) north to
Merritt, then Highway 97C (the Coquihalla Connector) east to
Kelowna.
By air from Vancouver
Step aboard a flight from Vancouver and you're on the first tee
in no time. Kelowna's airport happens to be right across the road
from The Okanagan Golf Club. Flights from Vancouver average less
than an hour and run frequently. Flights from abroad often route
through Vancouver International Airport before continuing to
Kelowna. Check with your travel agent for details.
